Wings Roster Move

Updated: Jun 9, 2025

After ending the 2024 season with nine straight losses and finishing second-to-last in the standings, the Dallas Wings made big changes in the offseason. A new-look roster will take the court in 2025 with a mix of returning stars and fresh faces.

The team also has a new coach—former USC assistant Chris Koclanes, who now takes over a lineup full of All-Star talent, experienced vets, and promising young players.

While Ogunbowale and McCowan will be key leaders, the Wings’ success may depend on how well the new players fit into Koclanes’ system.

Veterans NaLyssa Smith, Tyasha Harris and DiJonai Carrington all joined the team in the offseason and bring years of WNBA experience. Rookie Paige Bueckers played four seasons at UConn, one of the toughest and most talented programs in the country.

If the new players find their groove, the Wings could turn into a real contender in 2025.
