Will A&M and Kyle Field be too much for Miami

Marcell Reed and Texas A&M Aggies will face the Carson Beck and Miami Hurricanes in the first round of the College Football Playoff on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM CST. Miami leads the all-time series 3-2.

The most controversial decision yet to be made my The College Football Playoff Committee left many excited and many upset with the announcement of Miami in and Notre Dame out.

Texas A&M stunning loss to The Texas Longhorns in the final regular season game was nothing more than a HIGH CLASS of a long time rivalry between the two. Texas defeated then defeated A&M 27-17.

  • Texas A&M Advantage: Many analysts lean toward the Aggies due to their home-field advantage at Kyle Field, a strong defensive line, and a more consistent overall season performance. The potential return of key injured players, including running back Le'Veon Moss, is also seen as a positive factor.

  • Miami Advantage: Other experts predict an upset by Miami, citing the Hurricanes' strong defensive line (ranked 10th nationally) and an explosive passing offense led by quarterback Carson Beck and wide receiver Malachi Toney. Miami's ability to create big plays and force turnovers could be a decisive factor.
