S.O.C Rolls over Samuell 55-0 for Seventh straight Shutout

Samuell last year forfeited most of its season due to recruiting violations. This year, seems to be the only test for South Oak Cliff in district play.  District 5-5A Div. II contest at Pleasant Grove Stadium. Mikail Trotter added 105 yards rushing and a touchdown. The victory means SOC clinched the number one seed in the district.

SOC fumbled on the game's opening drive at the Samuell 21. Isaiah Udom intercepted a Samuell pass and returned it 28 yards to the Samuell 24.

Three plays later, Williams threw a touchdown strike to Nate Coleman. Williams, a junior, threw a touchdown pass to Delvin Cook on SOC's next series. Cook made a spectacular catch between two Samuell defenders.

Levon Morton broke for a 39-yard touchdown run on the next series to make it 21-0 with 54 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

The second quarter resembled the first with SOC being dominant on both sides of the ball.

SOC (8-1, 6-0 in District 5-5A Div. II) rushed for 339 yards and amassed 457.
