Poteet Varsity Girls Repeat as District Champions. Leading the way, Ulyssia Walker, returning 100m and 200m District Champ, reclaims her 100M Title and falls short in the 200m, placing 2nd. Chaney Beamon, last year District Champion and State Qualifier, reclaims her throne as she eyes a State Title. Both Walker and Beamon were a part of Poteet’s 400 Meter Relay that took gold. While Beamon was too far apart from the 4x200 Meter Relay that took Gold.
