Kchazney “Chaz” Beamon of Mesquite Poteet approaches the Texas State High School State Meet with the #2 Ranking. Chaz is a jr and will be returning for her second straight state appearance.

Slightly missing the podium last year in 4th place with a jump of 5’6, Chaz has successfully jumped 3 inches higher than last year’s 5A and 6A State Champion.
